The journal leaves the structure to its owner: book lists, story ideas or everyday notes. It has lined pages rather than blank sketchbook paper, and it is not a dated planner or a guided reading log.
The print works as a small piece of paper art. Check the full 10 × 10 inch paper size when planning a frame; the illustration itself is smaller, with the white border visible around it. No frame or separate mat comes with it.

The Raven Books print has a square paper sheet and a smaller, portrait-shaped illustration. The white area around the picture is part of the paper.
Print paper is 1.5 in wider and 1 in shorter than US Letter.
Both sheets use the same drawing scale. This on-screen comparison uses our digital artwork; it is not shown at actual size or a photograph of a framed sample. The white border is part of the print. No frame is included.
Look for a frame made to hold a 10 × 10 inch paper print. Check the size of paper it accepts, rather than measuring the outside of the frame. The finished outer dimensions depend on the frame style.
A separate mat can cover some of the white paper border. Ask your framer to check the window opening against the approximately 6.67 × 7.78 inch illustration, so it does not cover part of the picture. The image dimensions are not the size of the whole sheet.
Already have a frame? Measure the space that holds the paper and any mat opening before ordering. A rectangular frame sized only for the illustration may not accommodate the square sheet.
