Description
Keep a record of birds you notice at a window, feeder, garden or on a walk. These six original English journal templates can be printed or completed in a compatible PDF reader.
Six reusable templates
- Watch session: time, place, conditions, sightings and notes
- One bird, in detail: features, behaviour, sound, a printed sketch space and photo references
- Life list: bird or working name, first date and place
- Birding trip plan: route notes, observations to look for and a gear checklist
- Feeder observations: time, bird, largest group seen together and notes
- Month in review: highlights, reflections and next observations
The ZIP contains two six-page PDFs: A4 and US Letter editions of the same six templates, plus README.txt and LICENSE.txt. These are six different pages, not twelve different templates. There are no cover-only filler pages.
Try a real fillable page before buying
Download the free Watch session PDF in A4 or US Letter. It has working form fields so you can check saving and printing with your own PDF reader. The same template is included in the full pack. The sample needs no email, account or checkout.
Type, save or print
Use a PDF reader that supports AcroForm forms, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. Browser and mobile viewers vary; test the free sample first. Save a copy, close it and reopen it to check your entries. Standard Latin form fonts and English labels are supplied. The sketch area is for drawing on paper; it does not attach images.
Print selected pages in portrait at Actual size / 100%, or keep a new saved PDF copy for each outing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 inches. No entered observations are uploaded to GlebNatureStudio by these PDF files.
One household or group
One purchase permits repeated use by one household, one classroom or one club group. Print copies for that group or share the PDF privately within it for journal use. Resale, public rehosting and redistribution outside the group are not included. Full terms are in LICENSE.txt; mandatory consumer rights remain.
Digital delivery after payment
The ZIP becomes available from your order page and account after confirmed payment. No physical notebook is shipped and no shipping is required. Paid checkout currently requires a United States billing address.
